Heungkuk Life’s storming winning streak continues.
Heungkuk Life swept the Dodram 2023-2024 Season V League Road Construction Game 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-19) at 바카라사이트 Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon on Friday.
With the victory, Heungkuk Life improved to 28 points (10-1) and moved to 10 wins out of seven teams. With the loss, Roadworks (12 points) remains in sixth place.
The first set was led by Yelena, who scored 10 points on her own. The clutch came from Kim Yeon-kyung. Trailing 23-24 at the end of the first set, Kim made a touchout followed by a service ace to turn the game around. With the score tied at 25-25, Yelena and Kim scored back-to-back points to take the first set. It was actually the moment that decided the match.
The second set was also fiercely contested until the midway point, but Kim Mi-yeon’s one shot, Lee Joo-ah’s block, and her opponent’s error gave her a 19-15 lead and she never relinquished it.
In the third set, Kim Da Sol’s sharp serve stood out. At 14-13, Kim’s floater became an ace, followed by a direct kill from Reina to drive a wedge.
Yelena (21 points) and Kim Yeon-kyung (14 points) led the team’s offense throughout, supported by Reina (8 points) and Kim Mi-yeon (6 points). For DOT, Vukiric (20 points) gave a good effort but was unable to prevent the team from losing.
