KT Wiz’s Moon Sang-chul became a hero. KT, which was in danger of elimination with two losses, had to win the third game at Changwon NC Park on the 2nd. They took the lead with a run in the top of the second inning. However, no additional runs were scored.

“I’m not happy about the home run at all,” Moon said after the game. He said, “When a player is given a plan, he has to execute it well. I thought I lost the second game because of me. I was angry with myself because I failed to bunt again today. I’m human, so I thought about the second game again.”
Moon continued, “I tried to stay calm. The more I thought about it, the worse it was going to be. I struck out in my first two at-bats anyway, so I thought I’d try to hit something cool,” he said, explaining how the home run came about.
Finally, Moon said that he is filling the void of Kang Baek-ho perfectly, “I don’t have a set spot. I prepared the same regardless of whether I was the starter or the backup. There is no such thing as a backup,” he said. “This is the season I’ve played the most baseball. There are good times and bad times, and you get a feel for how to handle the bad times. I think we can build on that and be even better next season.”
