Kim Min-jae remains one of Bayern Munich’s most valuable players.
Sky Sports Italia on Monday (Aug. 28) named the 11 most valuable teams in the Bundesliga, according to its latest Bundesliga market value ranking.
Sky Sports revealed its list of the top 11 most valuable players in the German Bundesliga transfer market, according to soccer transfer specialist TransferMarkt.
In goal, Grigor Kovel was named the most valuable goalkeeper, while Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-Jae, Matthias Diricht, and Alfonso Davies made the defense. The midfield includes Joshua Kimmich and Ezequiel Palacios. Up front, the attacking lineup includes Xavi Simons, Florian Wirz, Jamal Moussaoui, and Harry Kane.
Kim Min-Jae is ninth on the list, valued at €55 million, and is ranked ninth out of 11 players. Despite being relegated to the bench due to his recent struggles, Kim’s value is higher than any other center back in the Bundesliga outside of Derrikht. The most valuable players were Mkhitaryan and Kane, who were both valued at €110 million. Not even Eric Dier, who has recently made a splash by breaking into the Bayern starting lineup, is on the list.
Kim has also been one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga so far this season, ranking in the top 11 according to Futscore.
Contrary to popular opinion, Thomas Tuchel has been trusting Dyer in the starting lineup over Kim Min-Jae recently, so it will take time for him to regain his place. Local reports suggest that the two spots occupied by Dyer and Derrikht are untouchable for the time being.
