The Sono Skygunners of professional basketball have finalized their roster.

Sono announced on the 16th that it has signed former 토토사이트 NBA center Deyonte Davis (27). Davis will be ready for action in the franchise’s inaugural season. With the addition of foreign forward Jarrod Jones and one Asian-quota player, Sono has a total of 19 players (9 guards, 7 forwards, and 3 centers).

“We made a quick decision to replace the foreign players and found them with plenty of time to spare,” said Sono coach Kim Seung-ki. “It’s a resource under the basket that we lacked. We also greatly valued his outside shooting, which is perfect for archery basketball,” he explained.

Davis, who is new to the KBL, was recognized as a McDonald’s All-American invitee. After just one year at the prestigious Michigan State University, he entered the NBA Draft and was selected by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the second round (31st overall).

He made his debut with the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies in the 2016-2017 season. In his first season, he appeared in 36 games, averaging 1.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.1 assists per game. The following year, in 2017-18, he was given the opportunity to play in 62 games, but did not meet expectations with 5.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.6 assists.

He then moved to the Taiwanese League. He rebounded and averaged 16.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.3 blocks in 30 minutes of play in 45 games over two seasons. He was also recognized for his shooting ability, shooting 60 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point range.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to play for Sono,” Davis said, “and I’m looking forward to playing the role coach wants me to play and helping the team win a lot of games.”

SONO will open its inaugural season on Nov. 22 against DB at the Goyang SONO Arena.
